The Great Cask Hall at Hope Estate is one of the most impressive Barrel Room’s in the country, and one of the Hunter Valley’s most popular function venues.
Perfectly located in the heart of Pokolbin, the venue is set on 420 acres of rolling countryside and picturesque vineyards.
Part of the working winery at Hope Estate (formerly known as The Rothbury Estate), the Great Cask Hall is surrounded by 59 enormous wine filled casks (4,500 litres fill each).
The casks along with the terracotta flooring and huge vaulted ceilings give the room an atmosphere (and aroma) of Baroque splendour.
Whether it is a wedding, function or special event the venue is ideally suited to sit down functions of 60-200 and cocktail functions of up to 300.
The catering at the Great Cask Hall is provided by Chez Pok Restaurant at Peppers Guest House, Hunter Valley. The Chef will create a stunning menu to suit your group’s requirements using the freshest local produce.
Wines are provided by Hope Estate and include the Blue Label Chardonnay, Shiraz, "The Ripper" WA Shiraz and the premium Virgin Hills Range from Victoria.
